BIOGRAPHY
Sydney’s passion for helping others started at a young age, after spending time at her community nursing home where her mother worked. Her time spent there also helped foster her strong connection to helping the elderly community. This passion, coupled with her love of creative thinking, helped drive her toward a career in trusts and estates.
Originally from upstate New York, Sydney received her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Legal Studies from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York, with a minor in Business Management. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. Sydney joined Schooley Law Firm in 2023 to follow her passion for helping families protect their hard-earned assets, create generational legacies, and spread awareness of the importance of estate planning for everyone. Sydney specializes in assisting clients in the fields of Estate Planning and Estate and Trust Administration.
Sydney was drawn to Richmond by the strong sense of community, and she is excited to join in and begin giving back to it. Outside work, Sydney enjoys exploring Richmond’s food scene, reading, exercising, and spending time with her boyfriend, Chase, and their dog, Toby.
