BIOGRAPHY

Victoria is a native Virginian, and a graduate of Longwood University, where she received a B.S., cum laude, in Sociology with a concentration in Family Studies.  She also holds a Paralegal Certificate from James Madison University. In addition, Victoria is a Virginia Registered Paralegal recognizing her as a highly qualified paralegal and an active member of the Richmond Paralegal Association granting her access to continuing legal education and public service opportunities.

After moving to Richmond in 2019 to work at Schooley Law Firm, Victoria discovered her passion for assisting families through the challenging probate process.  Victoria specializes in assisting clients with Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, Gift and Estate Tax Preparation, Corporate Law, and Family Law.   

Victoria offers invaluable support to clients navigating the legal complexities following the loss of a loved one. She has experience assisting clients through all facets of trust and estate administration, including meeting with clients, trustees, and family members; communicating with beneficiaries; preparing deeds, asset spreadsheets, probate pleadings such as inventories and accountings; and preparing federal estate tax returns and gift tax returns. Victoria is also experienced in drafting estate planning documents, such as wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorneys, and advance medical directives. 

In addition to her enthusiasm for spreadsheets and flowcharts, Victoria has a passion for helping others and giving back to her community.  Victoria currently serves as the Fundraising and Events Chair for the Doorways Young Professionals Council.  In the past, she has served on the Board of Young Professions for the Better Housing Coalition as well as a member of the Junior League of Richmond.

In her free time, Victoria seizes every opportunity to travel and delights in exploring Richmond’s restaurants, cooking gourmet meals, listening to live music, and spending time with her partner, Kevin, and their cat, Petunia.
