Office Manager / Legal Secretary / Paralegal

Schooley Law Firm, P.C. is seeking an office manager/legal secretary/paralegal to join our estate planning law firm in the near west end of Richmond, Virginia.   

We are a small firm dedicated to providing our clients with the highest level of service while practicing in a modern, positive, and family-oriented environment.   Candidate will be responsible for the following core job functions: scheduling and greeting new and existing clients, managing client intake process, tracking conflicts, processing invoices and payments, managing our client database, paper and digital filing, closing files, office supply management, and building maintenance management.  A candidate capable of efficient work has the opportunity to serve in a paralegal capacity including drafting legal documents.   

Attention to detail is paramount, particularly with written correspondence, typing skills, and numbers.

Candidate should be proficient in Mac computing, Word, and Excel, be able to learn QuickBooks Online and be eligible to serve as a notary. 

Qualifications / Benefits:

  • Associate Degree (If less than 15 years in legal field)

  • Quickbooks: 1 year (preferred)

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)

  • Schedule M-F, 9:00-6:00pm (one hour lunch)
